Instead you should set('title_for_layout', $val) from your view or controller.

af021cb4b2 Adding Html entity conversion to all urls generated by helpers, fixing potential for merged passedArgs to create xss vectors. 
Adding integer cast in paginate() to page param. 
Tests added/updated.
Fixes #6134
